lately, i have been wanting air.
when i looked for inspiration in perfume this past year, so much of what i found felt compressed. sweetness that smells cooked down like desserts and baked goods. woods that feel creamy and buttery. smoke that hangs in the air and refuses to move. everything arrives at once, rich and loud, but flat. there is weight, but no space.
what i kept craving was the opposite. scents where you can feel air between the elements. where green smells like snapped stems and crushed leaves. where fruit feels bright and fresh, not syrupy. where earth smells like roots, soil, and moss rather than powder. i wanted woods that feel dry and smooth, like sun-dried wood instead of melted resin. instead of smothering the air, each element has room to breathe, and you can sense it shifting as it moves.
in what i was searching for, color shows up not as candy sweetness, but as brightness. think citrus peel twisted into the air and petals warmed by the sun. green that feels alive, slightly bitter, slightly wet. earth that keeps everything grounded without pulling it down. a scent that doesn’t sit still, but drifts, opens, and leaves a trail you catch again a few steps later.
the feeling i was chasing was not less presence, but more movement. not lighter scents but clearer ones. fragrances you'd experience in motion, like a breeze moving through space, rather than something that presses down and stays put.
colorful.
lush.
green.
alive.
not minimal. not watery. just breathable.
that instinct has shaped what i have been working on behind the scenes. over the past year, i have been iterating and substituting materials. rebalancing. refining. chasing a specific feeling.
what is interesting is that this pull toward air and life is not happening in isolation. more and more, the conversation around fragrance is shifting toward freshness, greens, citrus, transparency, and movement. less syrup. less smoke. no more density for density’s sake. it feels less like a trend pivot and more like timing. like people are ready to breathe again.
reaching that balance, as i have come to learn, takes time. a lot of adjustments, restraint. and just a bunch of crappy blends along the way.

what came out of that process are two fragrances that live in the same world, but speak very differently.
that is where ciccio fragrances is right now. modern, airy structures and clean woods. a step away from the thick, heavy moment.
in 2026, life is meant to be experienced in living color!
ayiti chérie

ayiti chérie opens fresh and green, full of movement and light. the brightness feels sunlit rather than sharp, carried on air with a warmth that never turns heavy.
at the center is haitian vétiver. it is used for structure and rhythm, not smoke or density. like a steady heartbeat, it holds the fragrance together and gives it direction, allowing everything else to move freely around it.
as the scent develops, woods and greenery come through clean and clear. there is earthiness, but it stays lifted. the fragrance projects with ease and presence, unfolding with a natural flow rather than force.
ayiti chérie moves like kompa. grounded in rhythm. alive with motion and romance.
it is my ode to the beautiful vétiver d’haïti.
out of office

out of office moves differently.
it opens clean and airy, then sharpens into smooth, modern woods. crisp, controlled and effortless. it floats and projects with ease rather than volume.
relaxed precision. calm confidence.
out of office carries confidence with ease, whether you’re locked in or off the clock.
stay tuned!
both ayiti chérie and out of office will be available in february 2026.
